This website is operated by 2815620 Alberta Inc. dba Decode Talent (“Decode Talent”, “we”, “us”), based in Calgary, Alberta. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control your information when you use our website and forms.

Information We Collect

When you submit our forms (e.g., discovery call or contact forms), we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email, company, role, phone, time zone, preferred call time, and any message you include, plus whether you ticked the mailing list box.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries and book meetings.
• To follow up on services relevant to your request.
• To send occasional hiring insights by email, only if you tick the optional “Send me occasional hiring insights by email” box on a form. The box is unticked by default, and you can opt out anytime.

Legal Basis

We process your information based on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and providing requested services.

Third-Party Services

We use a secure form processing service (StaticForms) to receive submissions. Your form data is transmitted to their service for delivery to us. We only share the data you submit for the purpose of processing your request. Our forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which checks basic browser and device signals to tell people from bots.

Analytics and Performance

We use two tools to understand how the site is used and to keep it fast:

• Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use our pages: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, pages viewed, and device, browser and approximate location. It builds heatmaps and session replays from this and sets cookies to recognize repeat visits. Clarity also connects to Microsoft Bing (c.bing.com), which can set a Microsoft cookie that links Clarity data to Microsoft Advertising. Clarity masks text you type into form fields. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Beacon (beaconhq.dev) collects page views and performance data, such as page load times and script errors, along with browser and device type. We use it to find slow or broken pages.

We do not use these tools to identify you personally, and we do not sell analytics data.

Opt-Out and Preferences

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly. We will still email you to respond to active inquiries or service-related requests.

Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described here or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including spam protections on forms and least-access practices for stored submissions.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us to submit a request and we will respond promptly.
