About This Role

Lead Product Manager

We're looking for a curious, hands-on Product Manager who takes ownership of understanding complex problems and seeing them through. At our client, this means understanding how our teams design, quote, sell, measure, install, and support custom window treatments, then building better ways to get that work done. You'll own products within a larger ecosystem of internal tools, business systems, and platforms. Projects include the Quote Tool, AI Render, dashboards, our Measure & Installation (M&I) portal, our commissions product, and new capabilities such as AI Measure. These are examples of a broader portfolio. The scope spans improving existing tools, developing and launching new products, and connecting workflows across the ecosystem.

You'll often step into areas where the process isn't fully documented, requirements aren't clear, and answers live across different people and systems. We need someone who asks thoughtful questions, investigates independently, connects the dots, and creates enough clarity for the team to move forward.

What you'll own

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a portfolio of tools and platforms within our broader technology ecosystem.
  • Understand the full business process, from initial design and quoting through measure, order placement, installation, service, and commissions.
  • Work directly with design consultants, Client Services, operations, and M&I teams to understand how work actually happens, including pain points, handoffs, and workarounds.
  • Lead discovery in areas with limited documentation or shared understanding. Seek out the right people, investigate existing systems and data, and validate assumptions.
  • Map the larger ecosystem: how users, tools, data, and processes connect, where capabilities overlap, and where gaps create manual work or errors.
  • Lead new product initiatives such as AI Measure through discovery, definition, development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Define how AI capabilities, including AI Measure and AI Render, fit into everyday workflows and integrate with other products and systems.
  • Create clear end-to-end workflows that show what each user does, how systems respond, where information moves, and who owns the next step.
  • Own dashboard requirements and priorities, partnering with data and analytics teams to ensure teams can see progress, identify exceptions, and take action.
  • Translate complex product configurations, measurement requirements, pricing logic, commission rules, and operational processes into clear requirements and intuitive experiences.
  • Bridge business and engineering conversations, translating business needs into technical requirements and explaining technical constraints and tradeoffs in practical terms.
  • Partner with engineering and design to define solutions, sequence dependencies, and deliver improvements across products.
  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
  • Define success through measurable outcomes such as faster quoting, more accurate measures, fewer errors, reduced rework, smoother handoffs, and higher adoption.

The profile

  • Around 5+ years in product management, with experience owning internal tools, enterprise applications, or workflow products.
  • Naturally curious and resourceful. Asks follow-up questions, digs into unfamiliar areas, and actively seeks answers.
  • Comfortable moving work forward when the starting point is ambiguous. Can distinguish what's known, what needs investigation, and what needs a decision.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through. Identifies gaps, brings the right people together, and stays accountable for the outcome.
  • Strong systems thinking, with experience connecting multiple products and workflows into a broader ecosystem.
  • Experience developing new products as well as improving existing ones.
  • Hands-on with discovery, workflow mapping, requirements, acceptance criteria, and UAT.
  • Technically fluent enough to work through APIs, data flows, integrations, and system constraints with engineering.
  • Able to communicate clearly with business and technical teams, surface gaps in understanding, and build alignment.
  • Able to prioritize across competing needs and explain the reasoning clearly.
  • Experience with quoting, field service, measurement and installation, portals, commissions, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.
