Our client is a software studio that designs, builds, and ships production applications for clients across manufacturing, industrial, and B2B SaaS. They take projects from scoping and estimation through architecture, delivery, and long-term support. Their work spans data platforms, internal tooling, configurators and quoting systems, and AI-powered products. The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to own the top of the sales funnel. The company already has outreach infrastructure in place (cold email systems and LinkedIn tooling), so you are not starting from zero. Your job is to run it, improve it, and turn it into a steady flow of qualified conversations with the right companies.

You will research and target prospects, run multi-channel outreach, handle the early back-and-forth, qualify fit, and book meetings for the founding team to close. This is a role for someone who is comfortable being measured on pipeline, likes the craft of outbound, and wants real ownership over how the company goes to market.

What You Will Do

  • Own outbound prospecting across email and LinkedIn, using and refining existing outreach infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists in the ICP: manufacturing, industrial, and B2B SaaS companies that need custom software.
  • Write and test outreach messaging (subject lines, sequences, follow-ups) and iterate based on what actually converts.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against fit and intent, and book discovery calls for the founding team.
  • Keep the CRM clean and current so pipeline is always accurate and reportable.
  • Track and report on key metrics (sends, reply rates, meetings booked, pipeline created) and use them to improve.
  • Maintain sender reputation and deliverability hygiene on outreach domains.
  • Feed market signal back to the team: what messaging lands, which segments respond, and where the opportunities are.

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role, ideally selling services or software to businesses.
  • A real track record of booking qualified meetings through cold outreach, not just managing inbound.
  • Strong, clear writing: you can craft a cold message that gets a reply without sounding like a template.
  • Comfort with outreach and CRM tooling, and a willingness to operate and tune automated sequences.
  • Organized and self-directed: you can run your own pipeline and hit targets without daily oversight.
  • Resilience and consistency. You understand outbound is a numbers game played with care, not spam.
  • Clear communication and the judgment to qualify hard rather than book bad-fit meetings.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling custom software, agency or studio services, or technical products.
  • Familiarity with cold email infrastructure, deliverability, and warmup (domains, inboxes, sending limits).
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach tooling and multi-channel sequencing.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted prospecting and personalization workflows.
  • Some technical literacy: enough to speak credibly about what the company builds and to whom it matters.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or operations buyers.
